About Journal

Textual Encounters is a peer-reviewed academic journal published semi-annually by the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Fayoum University. It specializes in publishing research in the fields of language, literature, and translation across various languages. The journal is overseen by a board of academics from universities around the world. All submitted papers undergo double-blind peer review by two specialized reviewers. Published articles are available online through the Egyptian Knowledge Bank (EKB).

Open Access Policy:

Textual Encounters is an open-access journal, meaning all content is freely available to users without charge. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, share, print (for non-commercial purposes), search, and cite the full texts of the articles without prior permission from the publisher or authors, provided proper citation is given.

Self-archiving is also allowed, meaning authors may deposit their articles in institutional or academic repositories and publish them on personal websites.
